CROSS PROCESSION

Cross procession is a traditional Russian religious procession on the Christian sacred places accompanied by collective and individual prayers. These pictures were taken in 2003 and 2008 in Yaroslavl region during days-long cross processions to the source of the Monk Irinarch, Hermit of Rostov, a Russian Saint who lived in the 16th-17th centuries.
